Q: What is the strangest animal you've examined?
A: "A bat, reportedly the smallest of that breed in captivity."

Q: What is the strangest case you've ever had?
A: "A puppy who somehow swallowed the foot of a curved wrought iron end table leg.  The puppy was stuck on the foot of the table when it arrived at the clinic."  (The puppy survived with no further complications!)

Q: Did you always want to be a Veterinarian?
A: "Yes.  I've never wanted to be anything else."

Family:
Dr. Andrix married Juanell Spradley in 1971, 6 months after graduating, and together they formed the St. Cloud Veterinary Clinic on the corner of Florida Avenue and Highway 192 (13th Street) in St. Cloud.  The Andrix's have one daughter and three grandchildren and a multitude of grateful pets.  He has dedicated his life to his profession.  Dr. Andrix is very passionate about his work and is a veterinary doctor and surgeon 24/7.

Hobbies:
He enjoys maintaining the appearance of his clinic inside and out.  Work is his hobby.
